 IVANA PEJOSKA

She began playing the harp in 1987 At the age of nine her forehead could barely reach the neck of a “Lunacharskogo”.

When complimented that her performance was radiant and clear, that it is full of vehement desire and passion, she simply comments that she likes music imbued with the truth. Such as Ravels “ Introduction and Allegro” or Debussy’s “ Claire de Lune”.

She would have liked to be born at the same time as Baroque was. In a time of chivalry and décolletage, garters and horseback riders, Court harpists and Bach’s melodies .

Married. Mother of two. Family “vice” – sushi.

Insatiable desire to travel to Venice, then New York. To play with her eyes wide open. And then to return to her Belgrade. To play even whey her ayes are closed…

She lavishes the touch of red spruces, golden trinkets, rosewood carvings and the sound such as of a “ Minerva”. She then feels high and mighty.

She was born at the same time as the birth of the coming day, October 19th, 1978. On the 45th degree longitude, with 47 strings in between her fingers.
